Take A Walk… On The Beach
For those of us who are blessed to live on Hilton Head Island, with over 10 miles of sandy white beaches and lots of walking and biking trails, it is a haven for exercise, natural movement in a gorgeous environment and good old-fashioned fun. Walking enhances well-being for everyone at every stage and age of life. There are so many essential benefits to walking and is probably one of the best activities a person can do daily and consistently. No expensive gym equipment or memberships are required. Walking can be performed just about anywhere at anytime of the day, and best of all it is a free-gift.
Walking on the beach can benefit: cardiovascular fitness, strength training, agility, stress reduction, endurance, mental health, balance, and coordination to name a few. No beach access, no worries, just put on some sneakers and take a walk outside of your home.
